Ken Goodman

Ken Goodman performs each week in his beautiful Vienna Theatre in Historic Downtown Hot Springs, AR, and has long been an entertainer/performer. Stage appearances include lead roles in Bye, Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Babes in Toyland, Cinderella, The Foreigner, Le Nozze di Figaro, and an adaptation of L’Histoire du Soldat. With awards and accolades, Mr. Goodman has sung as a soloist before the Austrian Ambassador to the United States and countless other tourists, locals, mayors and elected officials, church groups, and civil groups.

At the age of four, Ken was in a terrible auto accident in which he nearly completely severed his tongue. His parents, John and Ruth Goodman of Hot Springs, were dismayed and wondered if he would ever speak again. After a tedious operation and months of healing, Ken regained his speech and song, and today enjoys telling the stories of his life and singing the songs of his heart.

Ken awaits word as to whether or not he will advance in the popular TV show, America’s Got Talent, which airs this summer. For now, locals and tourists share fun-filled evenings with him in The Vienna each week.

Ken and Stephanie set out to create an intimate little theatre which could be the home of excellence in music and entertainment in Historic Downtown Hot Springs.   The couple has been married for 19 years and they have three entertaining children, Rachel, Samantha, and Graham. The Goodmans reside in Hot Springs, AR.
